Eva Green Naked: Bond Girl Nude In Charlotte Rampling Redo (PHOTO)

Former 'Bond' girl Eva Green stripped for the UK magazine Tatler. Green, 29, took it off to recreate a 1973 photo of Charlotte Rampling, taken by Helmut Newton.

Green is no stranger to being naked, as she first shot to fame in the Bernardo Bertolucci movie "The Dreamers," which featured nudity and explicit sex.

Eva Green is a beautiful and desirable woman, but (try as she might) she is not Charlotte Rampling and Riccardo Tinelli is not Helmut Newton. To be sure, it takes some courage to emulate the most iconic nude photograph of the 1970s.

Eva’s cover picture is similarly inspired by another picture taken at the Hotel Nord-Pinus, in which Charlotte sits with a cigarette between her pouting lips. Smoking hot!

I have to declare it a FAIL, as a "remake" of the other "iconic" photo.

It's not surprising that Green's version got more votes: She has the bland, airbrushed plastic perfection that is required of women these days to be considered attractive or sexy.

Rampling's picture was from an era in which expression of personality and individuality was considered attractive.

Wonder why tastes are becoming so much less sophisticated?

Charlotte Rampling always looked like a concentration camp survivor. Her body was perfect for "The Night Porter", but I found her to be to painfully boney for almost every other role she played. Even in "Zardoz", her costume exposed a lumpy boney chest. I don't know who Eva Green is, but her body is so much better put together, she has some flesh on her bones and appears to be perfectly proportioned, tho, I'm sure there was some fancy airbrushing to achieve that perfection.

Your remark about concentration camp survivors is very bizarre and unfortunate, given the character that Rampling plays in The Night Porter. Nakedness for Rampling has never been a matter of exhibitionism or titilation - it's an esthetic attitude. At the age of 63, she's still skinny and still taking off her clothes, whether you like it or not. But I guess titilating you is not her chief concern.
