Come on. I lived in that neighborhood for 13 years without meeting a single person who would be offended by that ad. Where did they find folks who were offended? Did the query them on a bus or drag them up from the subway or were they coming across the bridge from New Jersey? I do not believe you can sustain a controversy over this billboard in Manhattan, no matter how much you think it will boost sales.

Are you serious? America is at far greater risk of destruction from the bigotry, closed-mindedness and cruelty of Fundamentalists than from any art images, especially ones that are so beautiful.

Then he/she asks: "Does anyone know the exact location of this billboard?" Why do you want to race downtown to get a taste of destruction or do you want to vandalize the billboard? I've got a clip-board if you want to stand on the street and take a poll. You could ask passersby if they feel just a little bit destroyed by the image towering over your head. That might enhance your education.

I feel disconcerted when we drive down Highland Ave in Los Angeles with my 4 year old boy and all of a sudden the whole front windshield is backgrounded by nearly naked people during foreplay. I dont make a big deal to my son so he doesnt focus on it but I find that this kind of legal public pornography is way out of line.

It is our fault that our children can activley or passively participate in a gang rape without a hint of compassion or regard for the victim. They're hypersexualized and desensitized.
