Basic training photos brought me back 26 years to Fort McClellan. Glad I don't need to go through that again. I wish Fisher the best and welcome to the family.

Wow its amazing how things have changed, yet stayed the same. I went through Basic and AIT at Benning as well, though it was nearly 20 years ago (when did I get so old?). Truth be told, it wasn't as tough as they make it out to be, but I suppose that's just my perception from being raised in an Army family.

Doesn't it all start with GI Joe, and the glorification of war, and tons of violent games, and cartoons! War is just a good thing for your stocks, and your corporation(s)!

If we follow your logic, my generation should be the most violent ever seen on Earth, with all our Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes cartoons. We also had the Thundercats and the Superfriends.
