Carrie Prejean Discusses Sex Tape With Sean Hannity: "Worst Mistake Of My Life" (VIDEO)

Carrie Prejean, the former Miss California USA who became a darling among conservatives when she refused to support same-sex marriage during the Miss USA Pageant, went on Sean Hannity's show tonight to promote her book and confirm TMZ's report that she made some kind of sex tape when she was a teenager.

Making the tape was the "worst mistake of my life," Prejean repeatedly said. "I was all by myself. I was sending my boyfriend at the time, who I loved and cared about, you know, video of me. I was a teenager at the time and never did I ever think it would come out."

Prejean told Hannity that she is "taking total responsibility for it."

I certainly would not use her as a role model if I had young girls in my house. Heck, my girls are 21 and 23 and I wouldn't use her as a role model for them either. Didn't she have to sign a contract where she said nothing like this existed? How many times has that lie been debunked? Just because she believes in the traditional definition of marriage and considers herself a christian and a conservative does not mean she has to have a perfect past or present. This happened when she was 17 and nobody knew who she was.

The media are trying to paint her as some kind of a hypocrite as though somebody who simply thinks marriage is between a man and a woman has to be angelic. She may very well be a hypocrite but so is everyone. The people who appear to be the worst hypocrites are those that stand up for values they believe in and then fall short. 1. Which "Traditional" definition of marriage do you mean? 1 wife and 40 concubines? Multiple wives? Picking a spouse based upon how much land they had? etc....

2. Oh, so if nobody knew who she was, then I guess it was ok for her to be a liar and a hypocrite. Remember, she signed contracts with the Miss CA. pagent saying that there wasn't anything out there, like naked pictures that could embarass the pagent. Well she had BOTH topless pics AND a sex tape. So she signed that contract recently and she was still lying and breaking one of the commandments, so please don't try to pass this off as a youthful mistake.

I think the main point is that people who have espouse morality have to themselves be highly moral. Ms. Prejean clearly isn't. While your beef with Al Gore might have legitimacy his message is infinitely larger (and more novel, think Silent Spring) than his own personal status. Ms. Prejean's ideas of what others should do (not the least bit novel) don't seem to extend to herself and thus parallel your complaints about Gore.
