Jimmy Choo: I Was Princess Diana's Shoemaker

Jimmy Choo's discreet little shop in west London is permanently under armed guard. Across the road, two policemen stand watch, but the famous shoe designer laughs when I ask him if his crystal-encrusted stilettos are so expensive they need their own protection? "No, no, they are not for me, they are for Tony and Cherie who live just there," he says, motioning to the grand square that is the Blairs' London residence.
