Sarah Palin angered and disappointed fans in Noblesville, Indiana yesterday when she abruptly left a book signing promotion even though there were many fans still waiting in line to receive her signature on their newly purchased copies of Going Rogue.

.It's hard not to feel bad for these folks after they took time off work to meet their hero, but when your hero is a failed vice presidential candidate and former governor of Alaska who resigned halfway through her first term in office, you shouldn't really be surprised when she ditches you in the cold for something better.

haha. I love how all of these people read everything about Sarah Palin on these news sites and then try to make themselves feel better by posting rude comments. Her book hasn't sold any copies? Newsweek is probably trying to get business by offering copies of her book. Open your eyes, she is VERY popular. Oprah had the highest ratings in two years when she appeared on her show and her "unpopular" book has broken the record for pre-release book sales. She is not looking for controversy in these book signings. If you are selling books and having a signing, would you go somewhere where people hate your guts or would you go to friendly territory? I do not agree 100% with her about everything and I am not a far right "activist", but I believe she is intelligent. No intelligent person would think they can go as far into debt as we are to "help the economy". I can go on about a lot of things, but.. Thanks for the entertainment! :D

Wow! Where do you find great trivia like that? I ask, because I too would love to have a huge arsenal of irrelevant tidbits of information that I could interject into any discussion about Sarah Palin as way of proving how screwed up she is. Those little moments are so special when we get to pull something really petty and nasty out of our hats should anyone come along and mention anything of substance about That Woman, particularly if it happens to be true!

I'm as shocked as anyone that Sarah Palin has not managed to visit every state in the union and have a face to face with each one of her mindless critics and blind haters. Especially considering that her book tour began all of yesterday.

Boy, does that prove that she's a paranoid twit who can't sell books or what? Thank goodness for the rational people here who have her down pat, otherwise who knows what could happen. Imagine, a white woman in the White House, and one who seems to think she's good looking to boot! The mind boggles, since everyone knows that white women aren't qualified for anything but shopping and liposuction, huh? So much better to keep those "community organizers" of color handling things for us, since they're doing such a great job of it so far.

BTW, if anyone actually knows what a "community organizer" is, and why anyone would want one, would you let me know? Thanks! (I'd like to keep up with the leftie rhetoric, but sometimes I get stuck!)

Notice that she isn't going anywhere where she doesn't already have a strong following. For example, she's going to both Cincinnati and Columbus, but not Cleveland (where I live). Cleveland is a largely Democratic area, Columbus and Cincy are much more rural and/or conservative. This will allow her to draw bigger crowds and less criticism, which Fox news and talk radio can spin into a "hugely successful" book tour.

If this dingbat thinks she can actually win the Presidency, she will need to start going outside of her comfort zone and trying to win hearts and minds who spend most of their time with their feet firmly planted on the middle ground.

Sarah Palin will never get my vote. She is divisive, vindictive and has an inflated sense of her own importance. NOTHING she says has any substance. For example, she'll tell you she'd like to see people in government doing the things neccessary to get our economy moving. Never once has she actually stated what those things would be. On the occasion she does attempt to offer an example, she rehashes ideas that are proven failures. Her world view is deliberately and apologetically narrow. She just does not represent, nor understand, nor speak for people like me.
