Vonageone

footnoted.org:

What a year it has been [for Vonage] under Lefar. When he joined the company, Vonage stock was trading at around $1.50 and a little over a year later it's trading at around $1.40.

So what does the Vonage board decide to do? Well, reward Lefar, of course.

How do you know it's failure?

Maybe he can use the ol' Obama line....Things would be worse if he didn't do what he did....

Which is true, the numbers going down doesn't mean failure....everyone's numbers are down in this economy....if your industry see's profit drop 15%, and your's only drops 7-10%...that's not failure.

Stock market surging while main street keeps getting squeezed

good articles: http://financeopinionss.blogspot.com

It looks like 9-8% unemployment is the new normal since the govt. wants ppl to be unemployed. Otherwise we would have REAL shovel ready projects and green jobs instead of the BS we have now.

quality of their product is OK

but they have the worst customer service imaginable. and i thought att was horrible and didn't care. vonage doesn't care at all even if they lose your business

they raised my rates twice to where i was paying double what i had been before. as soon as the initial contract ran out, they upped the price. i was paying double that of new customers.

and when you try to leave, they go through so many hoops of you filling out by hand paperwork and faxing it in. why they wouldn't accept a verbal verification with ss# and other data or some sort of online form. the account log in page on the web had no close account feature, you had to call. there was almost 2 hours of hold time both times i called.

then you call back after a week and they still haven't released your phone number and they say you left off some information. never mind that they information was not asked for on the form and they never said something was wrong. they just sat on it and collected another months bills

i was glad at first for the phone companies to have a tiny bit of competition, but i learned that just because they are the little guy on the block doesn't make them ethically any better than the giant companies.

There's a pattern here. If I want to join the mafia, I kill someone. If I want to be a CEO, I . . .
