Pity poor Mr Newhouse. He's down to his last $2 billion.

I looked at a copy of Newsweek at the checkstand the other day.

It was 64 pages.

I am an architecture geek. Our travels are centered around buildings we have not experienced. Some kind friend gave me a subscription to "Architectural Digest" without realizing it's not really about architecture, but more about interior design. I have the issue pictured. If everyone saw this celebrity issue, there would really be pitchforks and torches in the streets. No wonder their sales are down. There was one good issue in the last year. It was the issue that highlighted Brad Pitt's new houses for ordinary people in the fourth ward of New Orleans.

Excuse me... i am going to go burn an issue.
