Lindsay Lohan's Ungaro Collection Was "A Disaster" Says Ungaro Himself

Lindsay Lohan's stint as an "artistic adviser" to fashion house Ungaro has been slammed by Emanuel Ungaro himself.

Ungaro, who sold his business and is no longer involved in the label that carries his name, called Lindsay's collection "a disaster" on Monday night.

See runway photos of the heart-shaped nipple pasties and sequin-adorned collection here, for which Lohan took a runway lap at the end of the show.

Ungaro also said, "I'm furious but there isn't a thing I can do. I have absolutely no link with that house," adding the label is well on its way to "losing its soul."

Ummmm Cindy? Did you even read the article? Emanuel Ungaro SOLD the company. In fact, he sold it in 2005 so there was no way for him to "take an interest" in what Lindsay was doing and giver her somem advice.

I agree, but at least she tried. My art sucks, but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't show it if I had a friend who owned a gallery. Perhaps she is an artist in that she designed these clothes the way that she liked them and gave no thought to whether others would approve.

Let me break it all down for you.

Rooting for Lindsay Lohan's demise at the hands of drugs and fast living is much like the gladiator fights of Ancient Rome. You take a prime specimen, give them every luxury, wine, women and in Lindsay's case men too, but then you throw them into a brutal arena fraught with peril they aren't prepared for! And every time they escape death you cheer! But you also cheer for death to try again.

Can she survive? Can she keep cutting herself and drinking and taking pills and doing blow and banging everything in sight and having the whole world know it and live?!? There's only one way to find out and the mob must be appeased!

Of course, she must be honorable, and continue to subject herself to these dangers. She must maintain a military ideal and be stoic in the face of certain doom. She must plunge into the fray like a rabid beast, and either emerge to live another day, or breath her last!

And if she does, we'll give her an elaborate funeral, and tear our clothes and put soot in our hair and weep and wail desperately. And we'll cover it on the news for days ignoring all actual pressing topics.

Can't you hear the cheering crowd? Can't you see the sand pit of the arena stained red? Can't you smell the excitement in the air!

Probably the idea that she poisons everything she touches: film, television, relationships, now fashion, and obviously, herself.

Probably also the resentment created by endless media attempts to cram her 'brand' down the throats of the collective masses insisting she's some sort of 'lost talent', when the reality is, she's the product of two obsessive 'stage parents' with only one decent performance to her credit ('Mean Girls').

It's not very chivalrous of Ungaro to slam Lohan publicly. He must have had good rea$ons to sell his name, and having done so-- he should have kept his feelings private.

i can well understand how Ungaro could be absolutely mortified to see amateur dreck going down the runway with his name on it, even if he did sell his brand - the real blame belongs to whoever is running the label now and thought it would be a brilliant idea to sacrifice the company's credibility and its image for a bit of cheap publicity, with a has-been child actor, that backfired spectacularly ...

LL seemed like such a good child actor. Now, her acting is cheesy like a SNL skit. She doesn't seem to have a base to her, just vapid. One day something may click upstairs and she'll shine again as an actor-- or whatever. Too bad her parents didn't give her a good foundation-- its up to her now..
