Fox cancelled the only remaing good animated series they had, and that was King of the Hill. The Simpsons stopped being good four years ago. McFarlane has ALWAYS been derivative, even when all he had was FG.
I agree with everything you said, mainly because it is true. That South Park ep hit it on the nose. FG is not funny but I guess it is funny to lamos. It's amazing ppl don't realize how derivative Mc Farlame's stuff is.
It's called a sense of humor. Nobody croaked and made you the supreme ruler of all that is comedy now did they ? If you don't think it's funny then fine... it's not funny to you. But others obviously find it funny.
Some people just like seeing joke after joke. Nothing wrong with that.
But no one rips Disney for doing the exact same thing in what are to me the most memorable movies of my childhood?

Reusing animation? I think you missed the point or I did... All of Seth MacFarlane's shows are the same with different characters.
American Dad, Family Guy, Cleveland Show they are all essentially the exact same thing. IMO Just shows how successful he has been with that humor.

That was funny... not because of the bare facts of what it's pointing out and mocking, but how well done it was. The talking vampire blender was pretty great.

If you want to mention Seth McFarlane and Luck, just know that he happened to miss his plane from Boston to LA, on Sept. 11, because of an assistant error. ... Family Guy was cancelled just a few months later!!! Still hope he gave that assistant a raise!
Exactly what I've been trying to tell people about Seth McFarlane when they call him a "genius." The guys at South Park? Now they are geniuses.
South Park did a better Family Guy than Family Guy.

I've never thought he was more genius than SP, but lighten up people. It's not really that bad of a show. Now Cleveland... that is.
Is there a Genius contest they were entered in ? They are different , "The guys at south Park " are Matt stone and Trey Parker and a writing staff. Seth Mac-filthy-rich is a writer , producer , animates and does voices for an empire of shows , he also cut the first and largest comedy content deal with google /you tube . If you add up the sum of his projects and input in them and figure in that he works at the most talent unfriendly place on earth (fox) I would say he is way at the top of the list of talented and respected comedy creators . If you ask the staff at South Park (comedy central is a very talent friendly home ) most if not all would agree the Seth is elevating comedy to a level that at least gets paid and treated better than comedy normally would . Genius is a term used by people that rarely gets applied to them , I am just saying I am right and if you disagree you are wrong .
Actually, careful when you talk about how wrong I am. Matt and Trey have written every South Park from the beginning. Get your facts straight before being so elitist.
