Stormy Daniels: 'I Hope Someone Is Afraid Of What I'm Doing'

Daniels

In an interview with Marie Claire magazine, adult film star Stormy Daniels discusses her ambitions to unseat Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) and the explosion of her political adviser's car in May.

From the interview:

Q: Do you think you're more qualified than Senator Vitter?

A: Absolutely not. But in one movie, I did play a Secret Service agent marooned on an island controlled by North Korea. I butt heads with dictator Kim Jong-il and come out on top. [...]

Q: Your campaign adviser's car was bombed in July, although he wasn't in the car. Was this politically motivated?

A: I hope so. I hope someone is that afraid or interested in what I'm doing that they would try to scare me out of the race.

Daniels, who burst onto the political scene after Vitter became embroiled in a prostitution scandal earlier this year, professes, "This is my chance to make a difference, to do something unselfish, noble, and to help a lot of people."

Daniels has kept a lower profile since she was arrested on domestic violence charges in July.

Taking the word "that" out of her quote to make a better-sounding headline is seriously unethical.

Is Secret Service protection available for Congressional office seekers who have had such terroristic action against their campaign? It is unacceptable to have a bomb explode in a political advisors car without serious Federal inquiry.

I think Stormy will fit in just fine with congress, considering all the girl-girl movies she's made, she will do fine working with another group of people that don't do D1ck.

Not that I think she has a chance at winning, but I love that she's running.

I live in California, but I would vote for Stormy in Louisiana in a New York minute.

Funny thing is, she would be a better senator than Vitter. I'd vote for her.

Vitter is my senator..and unless a darn good Dem runs I will donate to Stormy and vote for her. She seems to have more honesty then Vitter and his "family values." I could care less about his values as long as he is following the laws...he is a hypocrite and a lier. I would much rather an honest crook.

Before I make up my mind, I'll have to thoroughly explore all her current positions to see if there are any I can get into.
10:55 AM on 11/12/2009
That may take a while. She has a lot of positions.

Stormy Daniels is articulate and appears to place her constituents first, not corporate interests. Because of her prior career, I would venture to say that she has a knowledge of human behavior and motives carried in the dark side of human behavior that a good many of us lack. I trust her. I respect her. If I lived in Louisiana, I would vote for her.

I'd take her ethics over most of the wingnuts we have.

Huey and Earl Long would be proud.

Should she be bi-partisan and make a diaper movie for Vitter.

Just saying....

I have volunteered to work on her campaign and, although not a resident of Louisiana, I can travel at my own expense. She would bring many significant qualities to the Senate that David Vitter does not possess - openness, transparency, love for her constitutents of both sexes and everything else she needs to become a force in Washington, she can learn on the job.

Oh now, all Ms. Daniels needs is a stay at the C Street House. That should put her on the straight and narrow. Oh, that place is just for men, huh?
