Sharon Osbourne Sorry She Called Susan Boyle A Hairy Arsehole (VIDEO, POLL)

Last week Sharon Osbourne said on Sirius radio that Susan Boyle looks like a "hairy arsehole" who was "hit with the f***ing ugly stick," and now she is reconsidering her choice of words.

Osbourne took to her Facebook wall to apologize. Her fans are largely supportive. Read her apology and watch her tirade below, then vote.

Sharon Osbourne has proved herself, once again, to be a crass and viciously nasty woman. This kind of outright slander has been done to hurt another for a laugh, is downright seedy.

I was never much of a fan of the family, but Sharon's disgraceful performance on that cheesy talk show merely sets her aside as one of those people who loves mocking those less fortunate...it's positively shameful!.

When I watched the video of Ms. Boyle for the 1st time at her audition it gave me chills and I am ashamed to admit that when she walked out I thought, Oh no....it's gonna be like one of those auditions we have seen on "America's Got Talent", then she opened her mouth and I like many others heard my own jaw drop to the floor. By the end I was actually in tears, not just because of her wonderful performance, but because I thought "finally a break for someone who has been left out or considered different or too old to become a star". I was shocked by Sharon's comment and will never be able to watch her again on her show without wondering if she is really being sincere when she is judging others. I am so disapointed in her and her so-called apology.

As an older woman who has been there and done that and have learned and earned some of my knowledge I can tell you this.

It is better to have a beautiful heart than a beautiful face.

I don't think (hope) that Susan Boyle would ever make a comment about someone else like Sharon Osbourne did.

I hope Susan holds her head up high and continues to lead her life with pride and belief in herself and her appeal to thousands/millions.

I still watch her BGT's YouTube video and it always brings a smile to my face.

Will the same ever be said of Sharon Osbourne?.... I don't think so.
