Daphne Guinness Dares To Wear 10-Inch Stilettos (PHOTO, POLL)

First Posted: 03/18/2010 5:12 am Updated: 05/25/2011 2:40 pm

In her new video, Lady Gaga dances in what we considered unwearable 10-inch stilettos by Alexander McQueen. But now another fashion-forward woman has dared to wear them: Daphne Guinness. On Thursday night the socialite and Marc Jacobs co-hosted a party for NARS 15X15 in New York.

Take a closer look at the couture collector's outfit and tell us what you think of the footwear.

Quick Poll

Daphne Guinness' 10-inch stilettos:

Love them!

Lose them!

42? I look 10 years younger than her and I'm 55! "Rode hard and put up wet" best describes her "look" IMHO.

It looks like the shoes are wearing her.

She looks like an old lady trying to be a Harajuku girl for Halloween.

Wow. Fugly, just fugly.

Since when is making your foot look like a cow hoof "fashion forward"?

It's not the height of the shoes that's the problem; the design is hideous.

Those are the butt-ugliest things I've ever seen in my life. To quote my uncle Homer, "I wouldn't wear those to a fist fight."

How far we've come from footbinding (which was also imposed by women upon women).

Amen. Would be great to see all the posts that didn't make it past the political correct community bowing to the fashion industry.

Are you really trying to make these shoes into a political debate?

Call it whatever you want--art, fashion, pushing the envelope--but she looks like a complete freak.

McQueen has a lot to answer for to the women of the world...I'd like to see him have to wear his own misogynistic lobster claw/Clydesdale 'shoes' 24/7 in atonement.

Lobster claw/Clydesdale 'shoes'......I'm still laughing......thank you......thank you

Voluntarily worn by women. Good for these models in their "stand"!

Never mind the shoes. How did she photo shop her enormous head like that?
