Victoria's Secret can't even make a bra that fits correctly. What the hell do they know about fashion?
I imagine since China is the next superpower, the world is starting to take notice of Asian people. Plus, we owe them a lot of money.
So, thanks VS for bolding including -- ONE -- asian model in your show. Wow.
true, quite surprising
About time. I think Asian women are gorgeous and if it wasn't for the communistic approach to keeping them on the DL down low and hidden, many a style would have been created for them. Hat's off to the industry for "finally including" other minorities in the selection of dress and modeling.
That's because the elites and the fashion industry, their lackeys, think of minorities--Asians, Africans, and other nonwhites--as second-class citizens. We women of color can be the seamstresses, the stylists, and maybe the designers, but not women to be ADMIRED. Not women to be put in the spotlight. That is left to white women. God forbid should a black or Asian woman be considered at least as beautiful as a white woman!
This is why I hate the fashion industry as a woman and a minority: it is nothing less than racist, sexist, and elitist while pretending otherwise.
when did VS get all high fashion and i thought their models were suppose to be slender yet curvy
File this under "should have happened a long time ago..."
Finally! But it's a shame that it's only because their blond and fair-haired regulars are out having babies.
Oh great. Now I can slobber over idealized images of an entirely new ethnicity! But will she slobber back? No....
