This pre-supposes that the clock should be stopped and it's another tired example of how women are not allowed to age.

How will these women look in 5 or 10 years? Will they look like the women who populate the pages of More magazine, which allegedly celebrates women over 40, but only if those women have no facial lines or wrinkles? While I recognize that the women pictured are in the entertainment business and their appearance is important for them, at some point in time a woman who has no lines, wrinkles and whose face is completely smooth looks unnatural.

A lot depends on your genes. My mom is 68 and you have to look through a magnifying glass to see any wrinkles, very very small at the corners of her eyes. My sister is 51 and looks around 30 absolutely no wrinkles. And NO! neither of them have ever had any work done.

The women in my family have big butts but no wrinkles! Yea!!!! No one wants to get wrinkles so you fight it for as long as you can. Unfortunately some women go over board with all of the cosmetic surgery and Botox. Personally you could not pay me to have Botox injected into my face.

I hate to say this without sounding negative but I am truthful - ladies, if you are not gorgeous in your 40's its time to hang it up!! Many of these women are extra lovely, i.e., Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston, Cindy Crawford. Many of them I thought looked older than their age. But all were lovely - as they should be in their 40's. I was a knockout!!! LOL

Naomi Watts' head looks awkward, like it was pasted on from another photo.

Halle's the most beautiful overall, Sheryl Crowe DOES look hotter now than she did in her 20s and Courteney Cox still has those stunning eyes.

Halle Berry could easily pass for a 30-year-old woman; she is absolutely STUNNING. I don't know how she can manage to look great all the time, even carrying her little one in an airport, or going to the gym.

On the flip side, Nicole Kidman, and Terry Hatcher look dreadful! Vivica Fox looks hard, and mean. I almost don't want to say anything bad about her:-)

As a 42 year old woman who has always been told she looks much younger than her age, I would like to suggest our appearance should be gauged not by how old/young we look, but how good we look. I don't mind looking my age -- I love being in my 40's and I'm proud of my accomplishments!
