"SNL" Skewers Lou Dobbs After Host Quits CNN (VIDEO)

"Saturday Night Live" went after Lou Dobbs this week, claiming he retired from CNN because he thinks the "C" stands for the Spanish word "si." Dobbs, played by Darrell Hammond, went on to refer to his replacement, John King, as "Juan" King--a man he says may have paid for his dapper appearance with drug money.

Nothing has happened to these tenants of our society. Can you honestly look at the state of politics and modern media and not say dissent is alive and well? As for Lou Dobbs, who had a bigger megaphone to exercise his free speech than him? Free speech does NOT, however, mean freedom from criticism or consequence. Because of his actions on the job, his employer chose to no longer employ him. Not entirely uncommon and well within their right.

C'mon Dave! I just completed a 7 month ordeal and a week long trial for speaking at a debate. The statute they used (PC 403) says - on its face - by reference to a separate statute, that it can't be used to prosecute someone for their speech at a debate. That didn't matter. Funny I attended a anti-Beck rally against Beck receiving the key to the city in Mount Vernon, WA a few months ago. As I marched through the crowd with my Anti-Beck & Faux News sign, I found myself in a small patch of only pro-Beck supporters, spewing hate and yelling at me. The problem with you Leftists is you don't understand what being American means. 'American' is a state of the mind. American means believing in the founding ideals of this country -- freedom, liberty and rugged individualism. All three are under assault from the Left.
