maybe but people still wear the medals as a sign of protection. and did it make them more effective before he got de-cannonized? my husband was raised catholic and still has one. the feelings any of these necklaces give is purely in ones mind. nothing wrong with believing though, but who really thinks they are less likely to get hurt if they wear a necklace.

DIAMONDS? I wonder where they are mined and processed. Diamond trade is STILL one of the most cruel and corrupt industries the world has ever seen. Children are still mining them in Africa, hands are still being chopped off, misery and blood is all over MOST diamonds. Canada is an exception, maybe the only clear exception besides manmade.The regulation of these rocks is known to be a dismal failure (the Kimberley Process). Regardless of their origin, however, the world will be a better place when we associate diamonds with human rights abuse, not "glamour" or of all things, "Protection".

and it clearly says "all proceeds" go to that foundation to help the children. if anyone thinks they will back out on that it's better to wait til after proof comes out that they pocketed money from it. i for one like to see someone with the capabilities use their fame for good and have no doubt they are sincere. it is possible that they really care about children.

People can be so mean. Just congratulate the fabulous designers. Mr Pitt made us all aware years ago that he was a creative, talentful jewelry creator.He filed a multimillions dollar lawsuit against a brand that dared to use pieces inspired by models of wedding rings crafted by hilm and his then bride.
His shining talent, testimony of an undying love was not to be imitated.
Now, he designs for charity purpose,money means nothing to him anymore.Wow, they're really saints.

That is a new piece of information about our hero! I had no idea (or probably just forgot) that he designed wedding bands for the wife he said he would never leave. Now he and the "love of his life" are designing their own jewelry line. He truly is a genius, isn't he?

wow all the hatred here. someone can't just genuinly like something. noone has ever accused me of celebrity worship, and I don't think anyone thinks a peace of jewelry can actually protect them or make them smart, but different symbols can bring to mind things like protection, wisdom or love. just like crosses, or St Christopher medal, or even a simple heart or peace sign necklace. all this irrational hate for celebrities is just as bad as the celebrity worship.

The main focus of the Make it Snake Foundation will be to let poor starving children buy some "organic" meals to eat. Jolie and Pitt would have no second thoughts about going on and on about organic meals and how important they are while constantly taking their own kids to McDonalds for meals. In true MIR fashion, Pitt went green while flying around on a private jet.

Jolie and Pitt's Make it Snake foundation for chiiilllldren, if its anything like the MIR foundation, then it will mean tonsof movie promos, and the kids will have to buy their own "organic" meals.

Its clear Pitt and Jolie will become Buddahists, Hindus whatever they need to as long as they can hawk their jewellery. One thousand dollars for a second rate design of a snake, one dollar for a charity Jolie has co-founded and the rest goes to Pitt's tuxedo, Jolie's lip plumping, a snake cup for one of the kids. I say keep the thousand donate to a charity of your choice and cut out the middle man and woman.
