Yeah, they will layoff teachers, but save the police and firemen.
We have become a police state.
I have been stopped at so many checkpoints in the past year.
I learned that you don't have to say anything except to verify your name and address on your drivers license.
The police make huge salaries and pensions with full benefits.
Everyone else has to just survive.

What about teachers???

Only the police state and ONE group of ACTUAL public servants get exempted? So much for "the children are our future" ... guess for Bloomie the only future is guns, jails and fires.

My wife is a NYC public school teacher. She's not in danger of being layoffed because she has 15 years in the system. But the newer teachers are very worried about layoffs.
