Leighton Meester's GQ Shoot: Lingerie, Spreads Legs (PHOTOS)

Leighton Meester has a sexy shoot in the upcoming GQ. Below are some pictures of the 'Gossip Girl' star wearing a leather corset, lingerie and smoldering stare. In one she's seated spread eagle, in another she's on all fours.

Leighton wore similar getups in her recent music video, and considerably less in her sex tape released last summer.

This is much better than the Megan Fox photo with all that post-pubescent stubble on display. I'm tempted to think of this as an artistic endeavour but I have to point out that Ms. Meester is wearing rather ordinary looking underwear. It's not a costume, so these photos lack taste. I am tired of seeing actors/singers posing for photos in panties and spreading their legs. It became outdated the moment Madonna did it for Louis Vuitton. Although, I doubt anyone will be able to look quite as disgusting as she does in that pose. After posing like this in a mainstream magazine, how is it that actors/singers get guff for taking pictures of themselves on their iPhones, which are later stolen and sold on the Web? I've seen Vogue (Nippon) spreads this year with material that would be banned in some industrialised countries. I am not even sure how to react to this ridiculous display of undies, except with a big fat yawn, and a question: How would Ms. Meester go to the bathroom in that leather bodysuit?

This is a perfect example of obsessive repression. Threaded though the need to talk and look and talk and (and repress and repress and probably a god of ashamed self knowledge) talk, is a moralizing that does nothing but mask the need to keep looking. The greater the repression, the larger the obsession.

The need to (still after all these years) tell daddy- "I am good!" over and over.

Its a magazine, HuffPo, that focuses on entertainment and shock, I am constantly amazed of the numbers of people who need, need to come, and paw through each page, clucking and tutting, and as Shakespeare is so oft' misquoted, "protesting too much."

Gotta say, it looks like this progressive, political website is going the way of Maxim and Stuff and FHM, et al. Cheesecake is fine, but I would really much rather they stuck with important or controversial issues here. I can see pics of actresses I don't know anywhere. I used to come to huffpost a lot more but I don't like these kinds of posts and usually don't like the comments much, either. If you open it to comment, then people say you opened it so you must like it. I opened this one to try to tell huffpost to give it a rest already.

I used to come to HP every day and now I come to HP around once a week. If that much. And it's because of this. A little of it is kind of fun, but all this is just too much. There's lots of entertainment news that doesn't make this website because they fill it with this stuff.

At least they've slowed down with the stories about Gwennie's trainer.

For the love of...... JUST DON'T CLICK on the vapid entertainment links. WHY would you complain to HP about the existence of an entertainment section? Huffpost is great for a variety of stuff (mostly political) - enjoy what you're into and leave the rest for others to enjoy without your whining about it and trying to get it removed.
