F Train Accident Leaves At Least One Dead

UPDATE: Gothamist is now reporting that the second victim was the train's operator who was taken to the hospital for "trauma."

While full details have yet to come in, an accident involving a Manhattan-bound F train left one dead and one injured this morning.

Gothamist initially reported the incident, receiving a tip that someone was struck by a train at 7th Avenue.

The F line is widely regarded as the city's most troubled subway line. Just last month the MTA released a report detailing its frequent delays, diversions, and overcrowded cars.
