Ohio State's Michigan Week Tradition Includes Urine (VIDEO)

It's an Ohio State tradition for students to jump into the university's Mirror Lake in the week leading up to OSU's matchup against arch-rival Michigan. But it appears that there may be a downside to so many people gathering in one body of water. The Columbus Dispatch reports that a study conducted during last year's jump revealed a dramatic increase in the lake's ammonia -- in this case, urine -- content:

"It went from a background of 5.2 parts per million to a peak of about 42 parts per million," [research associate Steve] Goldsmith said. "So it was an eightfold increase."
