I was always surprised at the arrogant and blazingly "un-PC" premise of "What Women Want". There were some well-written lines around what women were "thinking", but a lot of it was more like what a horny guy would want women to be thinking. It could've been more like a screwball comedy of the 60's, even if we're still gonna find out what women REALLY want is Mel Gibson. He loves the camera and the camera has always loved him, but this movie just offered further proof he can make movies about anything. No matter how stupid......and unfortunately they'll selll.
