UPDATE: Apple has unveiled its 2009 Black Friday sales. See the full listing of deals on the Apple store site here.

--------------------------------------

There have been rumors swirling about what Apple might offer for its 2009 Black Friday sales, and now Boy Genius Report has gotten a copy of what may be a leaked Apple ad detailing its Black Friday deals.

Boy Genius Report, which previously posted another unconfirmed Black Friday sales ad, notes about the new one (shown below),

We weren't too positive about that last one as it was from a new source, but this new image comes from a pretty credible connect of ours and it seems to be more reasonable.

According to the "leaked" ad, Apple's Black Friday offering could include:

  • iMacs and MacBook Pros from $1098
  • iPod nanos from $138
  • iPod Touch from $178
  • Apple TVs from $208
  • Story continues below

  • Airport Express from $88
  • Magic Mouse and Wireless Keyboard for $64 each

Boy Genius Report writes that these deals are available online only, and not in retail stores.

See the (unconfirmed) brochure for yourself below.

Before getting too excited -- and finalizing your shopping list -- keep in mind that BGR previously put up another Apple Black Friday ad, now generally believed to have been false (see it below). TUAW gives the lowdown on why it thinks it's a fake. Their explanation includes the rationale, "Historical precedence shows that Apple usually provides discounts on Black Friday, but not as big as BGR is indicating" and adds, "Apple's probably not going to send out anything with that much blank space at the top of it. They're too picky about design."

MacRumors also posted a "teaser" that is reportedly being distributed by Apple to raise awareness, especially among international customers, for its Black Friday Sale on November 27, 2009.

Many people are really rushing-in to department stores and retail shops to avail of big discounts this coming black friday up to cyber monday. It's a great time to save hundreds of dollars on selected items. Apple is still the best on the list:

WOW! A measly 10% off a new IMac or Mackbook Pro. How can they afford it?

PC users are just do jealous. They don't want to spend a tiny bit more money for what EVERONE knows is a sleeker, smoother, operating system. I'm not mad. Stay with your lame MS OS.

Question... Has Apple ever copied any inovation by Microsoft?
I would say no....

How do you fix an MS computer? Throw it in the garbage and by a Mac. Unless you're just a casual user, it's a no brainer.

I'm interested in geting a 16 gig Nano. Love my first gen 30 gig. Still works like a charm with LONG battery life, however, the prices shown as sale prices are the same as anyone can get on Amazon right now, or 2 months ago even. Where's the bargain?

Both Mac's and PC's are fun to work with.
It will be sad when one gets shelved.
Laserdisk was a good example of a good item that tanked
when it lost out to competing tech.
Players and disc software were gone in just a year.

Wow. A lot of angry little PC users on here slamming a product they don't like and the individuals that like the product.

What do you internet toughguys care what anybody buys and/or enjoys, so long as it doesn't harm you in any way? What's the problem?

Interesting posts.

While I do like the line of iPods that Apple offers, I think that Macs are essentially Fisher Price activity centers for adults. Aka PCs for dummies. :)

I've been using Macs for possibly longer than you've been alive, if that's an actual picture of you. If you work in any kind of creative field, there's no substitute. Why do you feel the need to insult people who use a different product than you do?

This is a particularly uninformed comment. The laptop I am writing from now is UNIX based. Solid, never crashes, runs perl, csh, etc, from the command line, comes with X-windows native if I would like. In other words, it's a unix machine. Want to see what's going on? ps and top. Emacs for file editing. All native.

Did I mention it's a macbook pro? The idea that macs are toys is so ignorant it's laughable.

And the idea that PCs c.rash all the time and they're constantly infected with malware isn't, right?

And I favor boxers. We should consider starting some sort of everlasting shouting match over these commercial products and their differences.
