Ford Supermodel Of The World Search Draws 1,500 Wannabes In NY (VIDEO)

About 1,500 wannabe famous faces turned out in New York on Sunday for Ford's Supermodel of the World Search. Melissa Bastel and Paulo Santos, the agency's scout and agent, explained they were also holding a contest in LA. They planned to pick a winner from the East Coast and one from the West Coast, and both will travel to Brazil to compete in the finals.

So what are they looking for? "Tall," "beautiful," and "je ne sais quoi" were a few of the criteria. Tadonna Nagle, a hopeful from the Bronx said, "I don't think it's just about being tall and beautiful because everyone on this line is probably tall and beautiful but I guess it has to be this little extra sparkle that she has that no one else has."
