Oasis Of The Seas (PHOTOS): The World's Largest Cruise Ship

First Posted: 3/18/10   Updated: 5/25/11

The Oasis Of The Seas , the new cruise ship from Royal Caribbean International, is the world's largest passenger ship ever built, and it features a variety of incredible over-the-top features: our personal favorite, the elevator bar.

The Oasis has been getting a lot of press - including "live-blogging" from the ship courtesy of Gene Sloan of USA Today. It arrived in Fort Lauderdale on a few weeks ago, and had initially set sail from Finland in October.

What do you think? In the light of the global recession, is this luminous luxury or idiotic extravagance? Are you dying to get on board or would you rather row?

Let us know.
