Shane King, a 23 year-old man from Thornton, was struck by five cars and died after attempting to cross Interstate 25 in Northglenn on Saturday night.
The Denver Post reports that he died at the scene around 10:55 p.m. and police closed the interstate for several hours near the 11600 block.
The Northglenn Police Department is still investigating what he was doing on the busy highway, and will be performing toxicology tests.
The AP reports that all five drivers who struck King were interviewed. It's still unclear whether charges will be pressed on any of the drivers.
