Crain's Chicago Business:

Illinois Treasurer and U.S. Senate hopeful Alexi Giannoulias said Tuesday that a "minimal" amount of the $70 million he and his siblings received in 2007 and 2008 dividends from Broadway Bank, the troubled Chicago lender the family owns, actually went to them individually.

This crook has all the makings for a career politcian.

Daddy, can I have a pony? Daddy, can I have a car? Daddy, can I buy the State Treasurer's office? Daddy, can I have a job as a U.S. Senator?

Bad year to be a banker running for office.

One more slick insider who's never had to work at a real job his entire life. Certainly qualifies him to go do the bidding of lobbyists in Washington. Our country is in real trouble if a clown like this can get into the Senate. He's a bigger embarassment than Roland and hard to believe, even less qualified.

Sounds like a Bush, or maybe a Romney?

"Don Giablagstrogurris" is done taking questions.

If you know what's good for you, Don Giablagstrogurris suggests you keep your trap shut and not bring up any alleged improprieties.

This guy is a joke... right out of college becomes VP at a bank. A bank owned by his daddy. Due to his family connections he ended up being friends with Chicago machine insiders.

He's never needed to look for a job, and views $1million as "minimal". He's 33 years old, so has very little life experience. I can't imagine what qualifies him to be a US Senator. And he hasn't a clue about the problems the middle class is facing. I can't think of a single reason to vote for him....

Who does he think he is?

Mitt Romney?
