Malia is all of 10 or 11, and she is almost as tall as her mom. I'm twice her age, and probably 8 inches shorter than her.

I love these pictures, Having fun with children and enjoying their fun and their interest in different things makes us BETTER people. True"family values" that cannot be faked. I don't always agree with the President's decisions, but I always agree that this family is exceptional and it shows. Thanks for this "album" of pictures.

I've never seen any first family interact in my lifetime like President Obama's family. They're so real, normal, and down-to-earth: mom and dad playing with the kids. Grandmom looking like a real grandmom -- unstaged. It's refreshing to see a real family in the White House.

Actually, they didn't do much in public as a family. By the time they got to the White House, they were already little lushies! If you go down to Texas you will hear the stories though..not cute ones either.

The joy's of living under a microscope. Glad my life doesn't get this much scrutiny... Love the Obama's though. They are the real deal not the "It's Morning In America" BS.. We are on the right track for a change but there is wreckage all over the tracks from the previous admin... Going to take some time and effort to clear it...

I sure hope they know how much we love them. I know Blacks aren't the only ones who love them but do they really know how much we absolutely adore them. They are our royal family. I know it sounds corny but it's true. I just can't get enough of them.

A lot of people think blacks knew of this family before they came on the seen but we didn't. The Obama's came out of the heavens to us and was dropped in to signal a shift. It took us by surprise. When we first took notice of them, we liked him but we didn't want them under any circumstance. If you remember it wasn't until after he won Iowa that we jumped on his bandwagon. We didn't want a Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson type. We wanted some one who isn't divisive. Don't get me wrong. The Sharpton's and Jackson's have a role to play in this country but President isn't one of them.

I truly believe god understood what was needed and gave us the Obama's. God Bless Them!

I love the "kidding" number one shot. I do that when my kids reach in front of me all the time. Good natured fun. I am so happy for them.
