Maurice Clemmons, Lakewood Cop Killer, Claimed He Was Jesus Christ (VIDEO)

Cop killer Maurice Clemmons drove to New York in June to see local minister Bernard Jordan, claiming that he was Jesus Christ.

According to the New York Daily News, Clemmons, who was gunned down by a Seattle police officer on Tuesday, apparently "disturbed a June 13 prayer service, trying to rush the stage and yelling, and then approached Bishop Bernard Jordan at his gala 50th birthday banquet the next day."

Jordan, who runs a "cyber-ministry" and claims to be a prophet, says Clemmons told him he was Jesus Christ.

The Associated Press reports that Clemmons had also told Washington state investigators that he "had visions that he was Jesus Christ and the the world was on the verge of the apocalypse."

Footage has been released of a friend of Clemmons telling Jordan that he is Jesus Christ and that God told them to come to New York.

It is believed that the killers' friends and family hid Clemmons' during the massive manhunt for him, helping with his wound and giving him money.

If you read this passage in the bible Peter speaks of false prophets on the end times. As time goes on there will be more people saying that they are the second coming of christ. But it say in the bible that when Jesus returns he will split the eastern sky. I havent seen the sky with any ripes in it. I am in semonary at the moment so this gentleman is just another one of these false prophects that the bible speaks of...... the fact that people of this board dont do there research before opening there mouths makes them truely look ignorent..... the facts is when Christ does return those that dont believe in him will be seperated like sheeps and goats. The sheeps shall be on his right and the goats to his left. The goats shall be casted into the fires of hell for eternal damn nation Matthew 25: 32-46

My problem is with the people that were having a holiday meal with him before all this happen and even after it happened. Sometimes we dont know how much people are telling the truth whenever they say they are going to kill someone. But in this case viewing this mans criminal record I would have taken notice t every word he said. The fact is why would anyone sit with someone even after he has shot 4 cops and threaten to kill kids able to sat there and not say anything. This man raped a 12 year old child tht alone is enough reason to turn his tail in to the authorities.

That would be Ronald Reagan. Almost half of our homeless problem has been caused by people who are sick not getting the appropriate treatment that they deserve, unable to hold a normal job or live a normal life they are thrust out onto the streets. It's a sad state of affairs and hopefully with Health Care reform and regulation it can help out many of these people who are unable to help themselves.

Sure, there are lots of people who are homeless because of bad decisions but there are also many who don't have any other choice and cannot help what they are. Those people need society's help, not our collective scorn.
