First Posted: 3/18/10 Updated: 5/25/11

November has come and gone, and with it the first full month of the NBA season. November saw some terrific dunks, including a particularly memorable Dwyane Wade jam. At first glance I thought the headline read "Best NBA drunks of November."

My interest in Basketball dropped to zero back in the mid-70's when the slam dunk came into vogue and when the average pro player's height reached 7 feet. Why be impressed with the pros when 4th graders play on the same size court with the same height basket? The pros need to GROW-UP and playing on a MAN SIZE court.

To be or not to be, is that seriously a question?

do you watch the Olympics? A fourth grader can pretty much compete in any of those events as well, just not at the same level. you talk about the NBA like the European imports haven't brought back the mid-range jumper. You should watch a few games, the league is much better than it was in say 2001.

Your interest dropped to zero, but you watched this video, and then went on to comment on it. Did anyone teach you what "zero" meant in 4th grade?

Dunking is for donuts.

NBA dunks and this facilitating of this open lane, high scoring, no defense basketball has ruined the game. I wish HP wouldn't contribute to this cultural nonsense by including a sports page.

higher level of non-sense; enjoying athletic competition (as old as human civilization) or reading a section of the news you think shouldn't exist?

Elitist! I hate that word but I couldn't think of anything better.
