Dawn Gibbons: Nevada First Lady Speaks About Her Divorce

She stood by her husband on Oct. 13, 2006, just a month before he was elected governor, when Chrissy Mazzeo, a Las Vegas cocktail server, contacted the Las Vegas Metro Police and said Gibbons made inappropriate and unwanted sexual advances to her in a restaurant parking lot.

'I remember being that wife, standing next to him while he denied all the charges. He said he didn't do those things because he was a happily married man. I stood there in front of the cameras trying to be supportive,' she says. 'I was thinking, 'We are happily married, right?''
