Judging from his expression, that baby is voting Republican in 2012.

'Let's Stay Together', with President Obama!

I knew the negative would pop up. The more jobs are created, the more you would look for something negative to throw in there.

Great first photo of Obama greeting Michael Steele who also happened to be in Allentown.

In the absence of a reversal of "Free Trade" policies and tax restrictions on profits exported as foreign investment any meaningful new manufacturing jobs created here will evaporate and trickle down abroad. It's like pouring sand into a sieve. In addition, our government has to check the power of international corporations, the Fed, and the Chamber of Commerce. The latter bears a striking resemblance to the Chamber of Fasci and Corporations of 1940 Italy. When will we get it that an international corporation is not an American one by definition! Their financial success is not bound to the welfare of our nation. What's good for GM may not, after all, be good for the country!

Obama is doing the same thing he did during the campaign - give speeches listing all the problems with the country.

He just did that in Allentown - "Americans can't wait for jobs".

Well duh. Thanks for telling us.

Over and over and over and over and over.

Sorta knew that during the campaign. We still know that.

Wonder if anyone is going to do something about it ...

You give me one example of what the previous administration did to stave off the jobs losses in their last four years. If you can do that then I'll think you have something important to say.

So tired of his photo ops! How I wish he would actually do something about the economy and unemployment. The President and Congress have done absolutely nothing this past year about fixing it. And now, there are 30 million Americans out of work! We voted for a change for the better. But so far, it's only been worse.

Those were great. It's nice to have such an expressive, photogenic president. Whether one agrees with his policies or not, I think he wears his humanity a bit more out there, which to me is a good leadership quality.

It is better to look good than to feel good. Or do anything substantial.
