With COP15 officially convening today, Hopenhagen released the third video in their campaign get leaders to act at the summit. The video dares us to reflect on hope -- with the question, "Hope, what is hope?" The video aims to bring voice to the citizens of Hopenhagen, as they work to "be heard" and effect meaningful discourse and political action at Copenhagen. I really think people underestimate planet earth and overestimate themselves.

Oh, the planet will still be here long after we are all gone.

Tools of the banksters and their government lackeys.

It is sadly very human for people to work against their own best interests, unless, of course, you are the one doing the manipulating to make them believe in something "good" that will eventually hurt them real bad.

Global warming will end us for sure, but not the way you environmentalists think it will. It won't be the planet that destroys us, it will be our "leaders".

Precisely, almost. Not sure about the natural trend of global warming, when in fact it has been cooling for the last several years, ending us.

With that said, well-intentioned people concerned by the environment are being duped by the banksters to set up another rash of derivatives via carbon trading that will fleece what is left of their pension funds and bank accounts. This will be the death blow to the American middle class and we should be very careful not rally behind a new economic order that is based on un-scientific activities of the IPCC. Well, I guess some people will just have to feel it to believe it.

If we shut industry down for a week the planet would pretty much clean itself -

That wouldn't help China a whole lot since they have few regulation when it comes to any pollution controls and labor health rights, esp water - http://www.chinahush.com/2009/10/21/amazing-pictures-pollution-in-china
