Trees For Troops: Military Families In Need Get Gifts

Last month, Impact showed you how to give back to the troops for Veterans Day. The holiday season brings with it even more ways individuals can make a difference to those serving in our military, and here's one of them.

With Trees For Troops, a program of the Christmas Spirit Foundation, you can donate a Christmas tree to an American military family, many of which have members currently deployed in Afghanistan and Iraq. Last year, Trees For Troops delivered over 17,000 trees from over 700 generous farms. For $20, you can provide a tree to a family that may not have one in their home otherwise.

Contributors are also encouraged to post a message to the troops or show extra support with a Trees For Troops T-shirt.
