Lily Cole & Terry Gilliam Premiere 'The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus' (PHOTOS)

Lily Cole towered over director Terry Gilliam at the premiere of their new movie, 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus,' in NYC Monday night. She showed off her supermodel legs in pinstriped thigh-high boots that matched her shorts suit.

The fantasy film, which opens Christmas day, is Heath Ledger's last. Cole plays opposite Ledger in the female lead of Valentina, daughter of traveling magician (Christopher Plummer) who makes a deal with the Devil (Tom Waits).

Um, why does Gilliam look so much shorter than Lily Cole here? We looked it up: Wikipedia says she's 5'10.5", and IMDB says he's 5'9". Anyone care to explain? I mean, he looks bummed in this photo. Is it because he shrank 7 inches that morning?

Gilliam is bending his knees, if you look closely, Probably some photog said, "hey, let's make her look real tall" and he went along with it. I've done similar things in my PR photography career (which might explain why I no longer have a PR photography career). She is indeed stunning, regardless of how much taller she is.....

Actually there are other pics of him mock looking up at her like she's a giantess. It's possible a photographer mentioned how tall she was, and he decided to just goof around. Heh.

She has a unique look, that's for sure. She has a very childlike face, which can work well in modeling certain looks. She looks great in model shots (not so much in this picture)--try googling her name in google images. I think she is beautiful, especially when her hair is wavy.
