"This may sound egotistical, but to me it is important that when I leave this earth, I would have made a difference — that people would know Al Gonzales lived, he touched lives, he made a difference, he left a mark."

Oh he left a mark all right. He touched lives so much that they stopped living.

I thought only England showed such disrespect for their "colors" (the flag)! Gonzales is shameful. A disgrace as a politician, an embarrassment as concerning the rule of law, and now he depicts our United States flag in such a disrespectful light. Or, maybe he thinks its a metaphor for protectionist rights - his rights.

Of all the stuff this guy did, as one of Cheney's and Bush cronies, you take issue with the props used by squire mag on their photos...

This guy should be indicted for war crimes along with GW, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Condi. They are responsible for thousands of deaths in Iraq as that was a war of choice.

Who is he again? I don't recall.

Well, he is the guy who in a very real way weaken the protections to private privacy that you enjoy, he tried to get the US to abandon one of the most successful treaties pertaining to the treatment of prisoners or wars, the Geneva Convention, a treaty that is responsible for saving possibly millions of lifes, and he was the Attorney General of the US for a while (top cop in the nation).

I'm surprised he could even remember anything which happened during the last eight years. Just judging by his testimony, he sounded like he had just woken up from a coma.

Judging by his arguments, the waking-up process has some way to go.

Get over it Alberto. You were a bought and paid for shill and you did what was asked. In other words a Patsy, so move on and build your self another reality like the rest of the nation is trying to do.

Just as I said.

Breaking news:

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/08/world/asia/08terror.html?em

American behind Mumbai attacks.

I predicted this because they were just too convenient with the elections and was done when the public was in heated discussion about punishing the Bush administration.

I will not be surprised if it leads back to the Bush administration.
