First Posted: 03/18/10 06:12 AM ET   Updated: 05/25/11 03:55 PM ET

The estate of the late, great Dominick Dunne has put his midtown Manhattan apartment on the market.

Priced at $1.45 million, the 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom features a beautiful terrace, study, wood-burning fireplace and magnificent views.

Dunne's estate also put his Connecticut home on the market in October.

Is it just me or is the kitchen a wee bit on the tight side? As a single person, I don't need a palatial kitchen, but it seems rather small for the price tag.

It is NY, though. What you are really investing in is the address and the views. Everything else is just garnish.

I kept thinking this week how I would have loved to have had Mr. Dunne cover the Amanda Knox trial.

I like it--old school and comfortable looking. Hate that sterile "modern" look or the industrial loft look.

Beauty is in the eye of blah blah, or whatever your designer tells you it is I guess. This place is ugly.

This is a great price. Maybe George Steph...etc. should pick this up instead of spending $40,000 per month on a rental.
Great outdoor spaces.

I was a fan of Mr. Dunne. His apartment reflects a personal charm I always suspected that he possessed.

I prefer the Connecticut home over this. But I can't afford either so doesn't matter.
