We're already a quarter of the way into Copenhagen 2009, and so far, the conference on climate change doesn't look as drab as you might expect. While everyone comes with a serious message, some environmental activists lightened the mood by donning whimsical costumes and breaking into dance. Everyone wants their voice to be heard, and they've found creative ways to make themselves stand out, from dressing like aliens to using a hunger strike to garner attention.

We'll be covering the events in depth, but as a way of whetting HuffPost Green readers' appetites, here are some of the best snapshots from the past few days.

As Copenhagen kicks off, we'd love you to share your pictures with us from in and around the conference. So, snap away and send them in!
