Robert Kindler's "2BG2FAIL" License Plate Changed To "MNA GUY"

First Posted: 03/18/10 06:12 AM ET   Updated: 05/25/11 03:55 PM ET

In his book, "Too Big to Fail", the New York Times scribe Andrew Ross Sorkin included a photo of a banker's license plate he saw in Greenwich, CT that read "2BG2FAIL".

The owner of the car, Robert Kindler, a mergers and acquisitions adviser at Morgan Stanley
who seems to share the dry wit of his brother, the comedian Andy Kindler, said he bought the plate for a laugh as a reminder that "no one is too big to fail."

But Kindler has since replaced the plates on his Porsche Cayenne Turbo. The new, toned-down one says simply "MNA GUY." Check it out -- and check out Sorkin's original post here.

The whole system is corrupt
Lets be real. Today's society is all about about less jobs. Less employees means more profit. Its all about productivity. Employers dont want to have more employees when they can have less. They will be high unemployment for a while. In capitalism it's all about profit not job creation. When a company lays off employees the stock price goes up! Unfortunately the way things are the economy can prosper with 10% unemployment and the little guy gets shafted.

Mergers N' Acquisitions Guy bought his Porsche by buying a family owned company that was 50 years old with borrowed money so it's 100 pct financed, then breaking it up and selling off pieces at a profit. In the meantime, workers who had been there for 30 years were laid off and the small town plants closed. No worries, there were Wal-Mart greeter jobs available.

That's how "productive" "MNA" guys are.

American-style Profit!

Those people don't change. He just became aware that he had drawn too much attention to himself and he didn't want to fall victim to someone who would take their anger over the economy on him.

The rich are not giving up their greed. They are just being more discreet about it in this economic climate.

At this time, he has finally learned that ANYTHING man made can FAIL. I wonder why that lesson was not learned by Wall Streeters.

Some now realize excess is no longer in style. They can hide but they apparently have to live among us.
