Hideki Matsui may soon be a member of the Los Angeles Angels. ESPN reports that the two parties are in "serious discussions" at this time.

Buster Olney of ESPN The Magazine tweeted that Matsui and the Angels are closing in on a one-year deal "for about $6.5 million."
