Michael Ventrella is the biggest ever? How big is that woman standing in front in the pink shirt? She also seems like she's pretty darn tall, in addition to all the extra weight.

If there was ever a reason for Health Care Reform... this is it. America you're sick. Stop working against your own best interest. No where else in the whole world is this an issue on this level. Do you know why? Free health care! Incentives to stay healthy! Politicians who actually work for the people (and who are scared of the people), not Insurance Companies. I live in Canada, there is $500 added to my annual bonus every year for gym memberships, massages and a nutritionist etc. Additionally both I and my husband get as part of our coverage, money for therapy, money for child care if we needed to take a break and unlimited sick days (I never understood how you can tell someone they can only have 5 sick days, how do you know how long you will be sick). I'm an American, living in Canada and moving here was indeed the very best life decision I've ever made. I'm doing my first triathlon in May. 5 years ago when I lived in the states, I couldn't walk up a flight of stairs without almost having a heart attack.

One more thing... Joe Liberman... d0uche!

People get desperate. It's dangerous to stay at over 500 pounds also.

It may be dangerous, but some people manage to make a lifetime out of it. A short one, but they exist at too big for life. Thankfully, I was raised to eat right, not drink soft drinks and move around. None of the women in our family are even close to 150, much less 500.

It has to be genetics with some of it. I've seen entire families that were extremely overweight. It can't be just what they eat.
