Caroline Cartwright, British Woman, Taken To Court AGAIN For Noisy Sex

Sex

48-year-old Brit Catherine Cartwright ignored a court-ordered ban on her noisy sex, and has pleaded guilty to making love with sounds described as "murder," "unnatural," and capable of drowning out her neighbors' televisions.

Cartwright had been banned from her noisy romps after hundreds of complaints. Even her postman and a women who walked her child to school past Cartwright's house complained.

The Press Association reported that Cartwright claimed to not realize she was being so noisy:

Giving evidence Cartwright said she was unable to control the noise she made during sex. "I did not understand why people asked me to be quiet because to me it is normal. I didn't understand where they were coming from. I have tried to minimize the situation by having sex in the morning - not at night - so the noise was not waking anybody," she said.

However, the BBC reported a neighbor's statements about the lovemaking:

At an earlier hearing, next door neighbour Rachel O'Connor told the court she was frequently late for work because she overslept having been awake most of the night because of the noise.
She said: "The noise sounds like they are both in considerable pain. I cannot describe the noise. I have never ever heard anything like it."

The local city council reportedly found the sex sessions produced sounds of 47 decibels.

Cartwright will be sentenced on January 18.

My goodness! I just clicked on the link with their pictures. I'm sorry I did. Now I'm going to have a picture in my head of those two going at it while caterwauling. Mercy!

Go for it. What is it with the British loud ladies. Years ago I was in a small country Hotel in Cockermouth in the Northwest of england. The joyful noise from the next room went on and on and on, most of the night. In the morning I had to see this couple, and waited until they left for Breakfast. They had to have been 70 years old. What could I do, I paid for their breakfast and sent them a bottle of Champagne. Go for it.

This 'earthshaking' ear-splitting lovemaking by British couple Caroline and Steve Wright...I think the authorities have gone too far. No two people making love, sound the same. My spouse and I rent out our downstairs and one of the renters, 22yrs old, when he and his girl/womanfriend start making love, because our house is not sound proof, her sounds can get loud to the point where I put on headphones to hear the television directly above his bedroom. Their sessions last approximately half an hour from start to finish. I hear her moan and it gets louder as she approaches orgasm.
Everyone makes different noise when making love and even if the way THIS couple makes love, sounds "unnatural" and as if there's "domestic violence" going on, to be arrested for making sounds that keep the neighbours awake, well...I can understand that, but the English judicial system might as well tell them both to stop making love or....move to another neighbourhood. Apparently Caroline is unemployed so obviously they can't afford to move and maybe they don't want to. It's really sad that a couple can't do what feels good for them without neighbours complaining.
If I knew their exact address on Hall Road in Concord, Washington, Tyne and Wear, I'd write to them and give them my thoughts. I really feel bad for them both.

Speaking of noisy neighbors, the WORST is when there are words mixed in with the screaming.

We used to have upstairs neighbors who liked to do it with the windows open. Sometimes, when the mood *wasn't* striking us, my wife and I would hear their motors start running, look at eachother, shrug, and get to business. It's like priming a pump.

In NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) lingo up to 55DB (decibels) the sound is not considered irritating to human ear.

The sound this lady is making ought to be more than 55 DB to wake the neighbor the whole night and caused delay to her office.

I think the neighbor lady is lying.

47 decibels, most of the night, sounding like "she was being murdered."

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/wear/8413974.stm

You're not including the distraction factor of the sounds of someone who sounds like she's being murdered most of the night, every night. There's a parking lot next to my building, when the tires squeal it sounds like screaming. Believe me, sound doesn't have to reach anywhere near 55 db to cause sleeplessness and stress.

47 decibels! what does that mean? I mean, compare that to a noise of 47 decibels that we all might have heard if we do not live near this, apparently very satisfied, woman.

I'm confused. Look at her photo in the BBC article and try to figure out which one of the two is she. Perhaps, that's why the screaming?
