Leighton Meester Tries Out A New Look (PHOTOS)

While Sarah Jessica Parker was explaining how she got rid of her mole, Leighton Meester was busy painting one one.

The 'Gossip Girl' star performed at the release party for Robin Thicke's new album at Butter in NYC with a new beauty mark much like that of her costar, Blake Lively. She joined Thicke onstage for a duet of 'Somebody to Love,' a track from her forthcoming solo project.

Wow. She looks absolutely terrible. Horrible makeup, just horrible. That dress is hideous and those boots couldn't clash more if they tried. What a mess.

Poor Leighton... she started out as the star and focus of "Gossip Girl" only to watch co-star Blake Lively get all the attention.

I've seen the show a handful of times and honestly, the only interesting thing about it is Lively. Leighton might as well be wallpaper next to her.

both these ladies are beautiful, but LM looks better more natural and fresh-faced, while BL definitely looks most appropriate super glammed up. Different strokes for different folks!
