Demi Moore: I'm 47, How Am I Supposed To Look? (PHOTO)

Demi Moore can't win. Her recent W cover was widely regarded as a Photoshop disaster, though she maintained it was her real body. Now she's getting flack for an unretouched photo--for looking old.

On Wednesday Demi shared an outtake from a Santa Monica photoshoot for Harper's Bazaar.

"Had the priviledge of working with a giraffe yesterday he was beautiful gentle and so amazing!" she tweeted along with the picture below. Some responses were unforgiving:

"sorrydemi that your self esteem is so low you can't admit to a little Photoshopping. And Ghost sucked," one follower wrote.

"sorry but you look old. specially your neck & cheecks at the second shot.." added another.

"I'm 47 how am I supposed to look?" Demi responded.

Demi and Ashton have long been consumed with cultivating their Twitter presence. A couple of weeks ago they planned dinner and sex over Twitter from different rooms in their house, and then there was that butt picture.

The woman has excellent genes and is one of those people who will not age hard. She steadily grows into her looks and will turn out to be a beautiful senior eventually. Some people are just fortunate in their genetic make up and in her case she also does not abuse her body or looks. She has access to all the help she needs to stay in good shape.

I say more power to her and I am happy for her that she will always be a great looking woman, whether she acquires a few wrinkles or not.

Why do all of you care if she's been photoshopped or not? What difference does that make in your lives?

That picture was definitely photoshopped, you can see the picture of the model who the body belonged to on RumerMills.com

She looks fine.

The real question is, what kind of person follows the tweets of celebrities?

The funny thing is she doesnt realize those people making those comments are doing ot to get a rise out of her on purpose. Demi looks good at whatever age

She always seems obsessed with herself and her age....it's menopause time Demi....that's the way it is...marrying a kid (who also a acts like a kid) doesn't make you a kid...it just makes you a menopausal woman who also acts like a kid...
It's time to contribute to life in a more significant way... put away your childish behavior and join the human race...a wrinkle at a time.

we are all "kids" no matter how old.

It's people trying to hold to some weird standard of mature that are faking it in my opinion.

With all the crappy marriages out there THIS is the one you need to criticize? Why? What's it to you?

Dear Demi,

You are a pretty girl who has had lots of surgueries..... Please do not deny it. Lying is so unbecoming...... I call Botox surgery..... face it - see the before and after photos on your boobs....etc.
There is nothing wrong with aging and if it makes you happy to have mini-lifts and all that. I say you go girl! More power to you! Wish I had the money to do it myself. But if I did, I would no lie and say "I'm all natural."

Too sad!

Demi and that Giraffe have very nice legs.

Demi looks fantastic and people that do not are just jealous. How hard is it to understand the logic for all the criticism about her? She's beautiful, successful, wealthy, healthy, happy & younger gorgeous husband to boot. Everyone only wishes they could have what she has.

First, it's OK not to look 20 forever. We've gotten so obsessed with a specific, youthful version of perfection that we can't see other versions, whether older or rounder or shorter or otherwise different from some iconic Pamela Anderson on Baywatch definition of beauty.

And it's killing us, and our girls. Since we will all age, we must stop torturing ourselves with this hysterical fear of looking like we can buy alcohol without getting carded.

Second, I think Demi Moore looks amazing, at 20, at 30, at 47, and I bet she'll look damn good at 68, too!

Third, she's done some really lovely work, notably in About Last Night and G.I. Jane. And she looked daaaaammmnnnn good in Striptease!

Fourth, Cut the woman a break! or go get a career in the movies, look better than she does, show more grace and dignity, and then you'll have room to talk about her. Until then, shut up.
