Everybody cheats if they can get away with it. Some more spectacularly, obviously, than others. The fact is, marriage is a social structure for raising children. It does not lend itself to the human need for love and recreational 53x. If humans had any sense, they would choose their child-making partners according to one set of criteria (genetic excellence), and their child-rearing and 53x- and love-needs-fulfilling partners according to different sets of criteria. We continue to function in ways that are not suited to our needs and requirements and then wonder why things go wrong. The ideal l0v3r does not necessarily make a good spouse, and the ideal parent does not necessarily make a good l0v3r or spouse. Why call it cheating? Why not simply renegotiate the entire institution so that people don't feel trapped and forced to fulfill each other's every need?

Men cheat because of evolutionary holdover programming to propagate our bloodlines as wide as possible. It's not that complicated a thing.

Rubbish. Women cheat too. Why? Because they would rather have good genetic material for their planned offspring, but want a caring provider to help parent their children, and a wild romantic to fulfill their need for love and 53x. Biological determinism is greatly overrated in a species that has learned, in many ways, to override its instincts.

Women do all of this stuff to entice and attract men, i.e. lipstick, eye makeup, high heels, perfume, stockings, hair, I can go on and on.

And when it has the desired effect, men are to blame.
