Congressional Ethics Office Closes Inquiry Into Murtha, Dicks and Moran

Roll Call:

The Office of Congressional Ethics has closed its investigation into Reps. John Murtha (D-Pa.), Norm Dicks (D-Wash.) and Jim Moran (D-Va.) and their relationships to the lobbying firm PMA Group, and the OCE advised against a formal House ethics investigation, the lawmakers' offices said Friday.

George Behan, Dicks' chief of staff, said the OCE, which reviews potential rules violations and refers investigations to the House ethics committee, informed the Washington lawmaker on Dec. 2 that it had recommended the inquiry be dismissed.

Did we really expect different results? We had enough of this now! Next election we shall vote 3rd party cross the lines. We will make sure that all these crooks get voted out of office. Exception would be Feingold. DEMS and GOP are under one hat, see the recent flawless vote for the war funding, better yet
the import of cheaper drugs, the lousy credit card revision, the energy bill, the cap & tax scam, etc.

Politicians as a social class should not be the arbiters of their own ethical conduct any more than members of organized crime families should be the final determinants of whether it was acceptable to whack Joey blues eyes and leave him in the trunk at the airport long term parking.

Drone attacks on civilians are ONGOING war crimes. IF you are serious about preventing war crimes and prosecuting the offenders, start with President Obama, to demonstrate your seriousness.
