David Letterman Joyrides In Cupcake Car (VIDEO)

This is the moment we've all been waiting for. The moment when cupcakes and automobiles join forces. David Letterman took the maiden ride in the delicious vehicle and from the look on his face, it was thrilling. It may not handle as well as a non-pastry based car (Letterman repeatedly lost control of the motorized cupcake), but that's a small price to pay for riding in style.

When I saw this thing in the Neiman's catalog, I couldn't believe it. It comes in any icing or sprinkles or decorations you want and well it should for $25K. What bugged me is the things goes 20 mph! What sort of massive estate do you have to own to be able to drive this thing? Maybe you can rent Daytona or Talledega for a day?

Loved it. This was the kind of stunt Dave was constantly pulling when he was on the late show on NBC. The velcro suit, the rice krispy suit, the monkey cams, etc. were hilarious.

All the while attempting to run over the "cat". That was a brilliant segment, especially the way Dave set it up as if he was going to be a good boy. Destroying the hamster maze with the cat was priceless.
