British celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, whose School Dinners and Feed Me Better campaign pressured the UK government to invest $1 billion to ban junk food and improve school lunches, has won the TED Prize for 2010.

The winner is granted $100,000 and "a wish to change the world." Oliver will be unveiling his on February 10 at the TED2010 conference, and the TED community will work to make it come true.

Oliver has waged war on the obesity epidemic, as the CDC finds that one in four Americans are considered obese. He'll be tackling this issue head on with an ABC series in 2010 called "Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution USA" to bring his ideas on healthy eating to America.

The crusading chef also founded the Fifteen Foundation, which apprentices disadvantaged 18-24 year olds in his restaurant of the same name. The mission of the foundation is to equip young people with skills to overcome their setbacks and create careers in the restaurant industry.

TED, which stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design, is a nonprofit foundation known for its idea-spreading conferences. TED is known widely for TED Talks, which are 18 minute speeches on a wide range of subjects covering science and culture, given by speakers such as Al Gore, Bill Clinton and the founders of Google.

Existing "wishes to change the world" include the recently-launched Charter for Compassion, Dave Eggers' OnceUponASchool, EO Wilson's Encyclopedia of Life and Neil Turok's Next Einstein Project.
