Nasa has captured a stunning image of light reflection in the northern hemisphere of Titan, the largest moon of the planet Saturn, illustrating the presence of surface liquid on the planetary body.

The image, taken by the Cassini Spacecraft's visual and infrared mapping spectrometer on July 8, is the first of its kind.

Cute. That is a balloon in a darkened room with a small light shining on it. Oh, yes, they named the balloon Titan. So yes, that is Titan.

Titan is not a planet, and the headline should be corrected.

Agreed. Titan is a moon, not a planet. The presence of liquid hydrocarbons on Titan is known. The photograph is stunning and one of a kind, but the head line is misleading.

Agreed. It been known for decades that Titan had an atmosphere and moisture. The picture is impressive.
