Denver Daily :

Medical marijuana advocates believe that today's court hearing in Centennial could shape the future of the booming medical marijuana industry in Colorado.

In October the City of Centennial revoked the business license of CannaMart after learning that the business was a medical marijuana dispensary. In turn, two caregivers and three patients from the dispensary sued the city in hopes of having the decision overturned. The case could prove a landmark decision on whether cities can use home rule authority to ban dispensaries from operating within city limits, even though voters approved the use of medical marijuana by seriously ill patients in 2000.

As an executive, I travel close to 50,000 miles per year. As a legal medical marijuana patient, activist and Executive Director for the Beverly Hills Chapter of NORML, I have serious concern. I work each and every day to reform marijuana laws. I dream of a day when I can use the medication of my choice, in this case, medical cannabis, without fear of arrest from traveling on business or visiting friends and family. I dream of a day when cannabis is legalized federally. I pray for the day that at the very least, we can have reciprocation in recognizing legal medical marijuana patients traveling between legal states.

I hope others will join me in that mission.
Merry Christmas to all!

Respectfully,

In Colorado Medical Marijuana is part of our State Constitution. Which makes the choice to use Medical Marijuana made with your DR a Right. Not a privilege. 2010 should see quite a few very interesting Medical Marijuana cases. With any luck, people with start to realize that Marijuana cant kill a person, as that simple fact alone should clear up much of the craziness around Marijuana in general, and Medical Marijuana.
